Payments Management & Refund Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2020
1) ACCOUNTS & PLANS MANAGEMENT:
a) Passwords and Accounts Access: Every Account has one designated Adult User who must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Account information. You agree (a) that you will provide complete and accurate Subscription information about yourself and keep your Account information up to date; (b) that you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account; (c) that you will notify us immediately of any unauthorized Account use; (d) that we are in no way responsible for any loss that you may incur as a result of any unauthorized use of your Account and password; and (e) that you will not sell, transfer, or assign your Account or any Account rights. If we learn that an ineligible User has created an Account, we may seek confirmation of the User’s status or deactivate the Account, without notice to the ineligible User.
b) Account Fees: For our paid services, we charge a Subscription fee, for our Plans. For existing subscribers, we charge the subscription fee for your continued access of your plan at the end of your subscription period, provided that we first notify you by email. All fees are payable in accordance with payment terms in effect at the time the fee or the charge becomes payable. We may offer promotional trial subscriptions to access the Services for free for a specified period. If you sign up for a trial subscription, your rights to use the Services are limited by the terms of such trial and will terminate or renew according to the terms of your trial arrangement and/or any applicable Additional Terms. Failure to pay fees for your initial subscription to our paid services may result in your inability to access or use such Services.
(i) Authorization to Charge for Services: You must either use a debit card or other payment mechanism accepted by us (for example, PayPal and DPO) to activate and maintain a Paid Plan. You authorize us to charge you through the Pay Mechanism that you use when subscribing for a Plan and/or upgrading to another. You will also be responsible for charges (including applicable taxes) for any services you subscribe for through our platform. Should the Pay Mechanism provided initially be declined for insufficient funds or any other reason, we reserve the right to attempt to recharge the Pay Mechanism in full for the duration of the Account subscription period you opted for.. You will not be charged more than the amount for which your Plan goes for.. You will be solely responsible for all overdraft fees and/or penalties that may be assessed by your payment provider. It’s important to note that we use a third-party service provider to process payments on our behalf. You acknowledge and agree that in the event the third-party payment processor experiences a data breach that affects your information through no fault of Company, Company will in no way be responsible or liable to you for any such breach.
(ii) Subscription and Renewal: By activating any Plan, you agree that we may renew your subscription automatically for the same subscription term on the next business day after your previous subscription ends. For example: If you subscribe for a 30-day Plan April 1, your subscription will automatically renew on May 1, June 1 and so on. You authorize us to charge you for the subscription term, at the then-current applicable charge, unless you CANCEL your subscription prior to its renewal date through the procedures described in the Subscription Cancellation section below.
(iii) Subscription Cancellation. To cancel any subscription and avoid future charges, you may cancel such subscription prior to its renewal date through the My Account area in the top right corner of our site header or by contacting our Customer Support team. If you contact Customer Support, please know that we endeavor to have customer requests handled within 24–48 hours; however, we cannot guarantee that your cancellation will be registered within that time period. After you cancel your Subscription, we will not charge you any subscription fees after the expiration of your then-current subscription. Please read more about Plan cancellations and refunds, where applicable, in the Refund Policy following this.
2) REFUND POLICY
You can cancel your Plan at any time within the first 3 days from your payment date also termed as Total Refund Period (TRP) and receive a Full Refund (FR), except for the processing fees for the transaction. No questions asked! This applies to all Plans.
If the first 3 days have ended and you feel you deserve a refund, write to us why and we will review your request.

Plans Policy
a) Basic Plan Refund Policy Details:

If you decide to cancel your Plan within the first 3 days, your Plan will be canceled immediately and you will no longer be able to make use of our Paid Services.

If you choose to cancel your Basic Plan past the TRP but with a period not exceeding the first 15 days of your subscription period, we deduct a subscription charge that commensurate a dividend of the number of days that your access to our paid services has lasted (a ration of the price of the plan to the duration of the plan, in days), and transaction processing fee therewith. Note that this only applies to Basic Plan subscription.

However, if you choose to cancel your Basic Plan beyond the 15th day of subscription period, you are not eligible for a refund.
b) Standard Plan Refund Policy Details:

If you decide to cancel your Standard Plan within the first 3 days, your Plan will be canceled immediately and you will no longer be able to make use of our Paid Services.

If you cancel your Standard Plan past the TRP but within a period not exceeding the first 30 days of your subscription period, we deduct a subscription charge that commensurate a dividend of the number of days that your access to our paid services has lasted (a ration of the price of the plan to the duration of the plan, in days), and transaction processing fee therewith.

If you choose to cancel your Standard Plan beyond the 30th day of subscription period, you are not eligible for a refund.
c) Premium Plan Refund Policy Details:

If you decide to cancel your Premium Plan within the first 3 days, your Plan will be canceled immediately and you will no longer be able to make use of our Paid Services.

If you cancel your Premium Plan past the TRP but within a period not exceeding the first 90 days of your subscription period, we deduct a subscription charge that commensurate a dividend of the number of days that your access to our paid services has lasted (a ration of the price of the plan to the duration of the plan, in days), and transaction processing fee therewith.

If you choose to cancel your Premium Plan beyond the 90th day of subscription period, you are not eligible for a refund.
2. Credit Card Refund Details

If you are eligible for a refund (full or partial), your credit card or other transaction medium will be refunded automatically, within 20 business days.

Please allow up to 20 business days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement. Note the refund does not include transaction fee deducted at the time of subscription.

Lumar Learning is not responsible for any bank charges, commissions or overdrafts. The only way to remove these charges is through direct negotiation with your bank or other transactions service provide.
